Editorial Review Board

The members of the Editorial Review Board (ERB) work closely with the Board of Directors to achieve the goals of the Australian Institute of Radiography.

 

The members of the ERB are responsible for reviewing manuscripts for publication to The Radiographer.  The members are representatives of the profession with backgrounds in radiography, radiation therapy and sonography with varying areas of expertise. The members of the ERB also appoint associate peer reviewers or guest expert reviewers for the review of manuscripts outside their area of expertise.

 

Sub-editors in radiography and radiation therapy are appointed to manage the double blind review of manuscripts.  In summary, the reviewers assess the author(s) compliance with ethical requirements, rigorousness in research methodology, scientific writing style and the relevance of the topic to the profession.
