Medical Imaging Advisory Panel 1 (MIAP1)

The Medical Imaging Advisory Panel 1 was formed to address the needs of Diagnostic Radiography, including CT Scanning and MRI.

Core activities for MIAP1 include the following:

• Developing guidelines for the practice of Diagnostic Radiography and matters relating to quality assurance
• Benchmarking activities relating to professional practice
• Accreditation of MRI operators
• Accreditation examinations

Matters of policy in Diagnostic Radiography, CT Scanning and MRI are referred to MIAP1 by the Board of Directors for recommendations where the panel's expertise is required.
