AIR Research Scholarships

The AIR through the Professional Accreditation and Education Board (PAEB) are again in 2012 offering two research scholarships to enhance the research base within Medical Radiation Science.

Each research scholarship will be for a maximum of $5000.00. One will be offered in diagnostic radiography and one in radiation therapy. The scholarships are designed to help members develop research projects that will directly benefit patients. The PAEB invites AIR members to apply for the scholarships. The successful candidate will be expected to publish the outcome of their work in the AIR The Radiographer and to present at the Annual Scientific Meeting of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (ASMMIRT).

Closing date for applications is Friday 9th November 2012

The successful applicants will be notified by mail early in 2013 and an announcement published in Spectrum in February.
