IMPORTANT NOTE - AIR CPD APPELLATIONS

At its meeting of 22 May 2012, the Medical Radiations Practice Board of Australia (MRPBA) considered the AIR’s submission of their CPD program and determined that the AIR's new CPD Program meets the Board's requirements. The Board has therefore approved the AIR's CPD Program as it meets the requirements of the Policy for the Approval of a CPD Program

However, with this approval for the CPD program, the AIR can be audited for processes and systems which need to meet the Board’s requirements. To meet these requirements, appellation holders are now requested to undertake a self audit and review of their own appellations upon renewal.

All appellation holders will be sent documentation late July which details the requirements in order to retain their appellation status. This includes all appellation holders who have also renewed their appellations.

Note that credits will be allocated on the basis of educational content, and no two appellations will be the same.
